NBA Draft marks its presence in 2020 in the month of November. The draft was supposed to happen in June but was postponed due to the pandemic. The NBA Draft has always been an intriguing sneak for the fans. Like every year since its inception, this year too, the picks were interesting and worth to know about. Let us have a look at both the rounds in the NBA Draft 2020:

  1. Anthony Edwards, the shooting guard from Georgia became the first pick of the season as the Minnesota Timberwolves chose him. Edwards is well-renowned to be one of the five finalists, selected for the Jerry West Award. The award is given to the best collegiate shooting guard. 
  2. Next went to the line, Golden State Warriors who chose James Wiseman, prior center position player of Memphis.
  3. For the third pick, Charlotte Hornets was selected by LaMelo Ball who played guard for the USA. 
  4. The Chicago Bulls put their trust in Patrick Williams who is known to have played at the forward position from Florida State. 
  5. The first round preceded as the turn came to Cleveland Cavaliers. The team chose Isaac Okoro who went on to play for Auburn at forward position. With this pick the season got its first five picks for the season 2020.
  6. The Atlanta Hawks chose Onyeka Okongwu who is recalled for playing at center for the USC Trojans.
